Southern Thailand near the Malaysian border is the area for Muslim insurrectionists. The Hmong in Northern Thailand are at the opposite end of the country and live straddling the Lao/Thai boundary. This simple geographic fact renders Hmong involvement nonsensical.Georgejdorner (talk) 21:33, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
I believe southern here refers to southern Laos (same for the rebellion). The opening referring to the event as "an episode broadcast on television" is confusing and should be rewritten, though. --Paul_012 (talk) 04:20, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
