Missing critics section
There is a section "Corporate Social Responsibility" but no section critics about Vattenfall? In Germany Vattenfall is discussed very much as (one of) the most irresponsible energy suppliers, due to many accidents in nuklear power plants (Krümel and Brunsbüttel). They are also very much critisized for still building dirty coal plants. Vattenfall even sued Germany for 1,4 billion Euro because Vattenfall thinks that the environmental protection criterias for a new plant are to strict. The many Skandals of Vattenfall and the (in the eyes of German people) inability to use nuclear power plants savely could even have an inpact on the upcomming German elections. (For all the above see for example [1] or [2] The critics about that company are very substantial and should be implemented in the article. As I am not a native speaker and my English is not perfect, I would be pleased if anyone with excellent english writing skills could do it. --88.69.195.246 (talk) 20:26, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- That's right. For the time being, I added a Template:NPOV message. Jakob.scholbach (talk) 11:06, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Question, if Vattenfall is the most irresponsible energy suppliers does that make Germans the most irresponsible energy consumers?
- 88.89.195.246 may have a point but Krümmel is owned by 50 percent of the German energy company E.ON and the nuclear plant Brunsbüttel is owned by 33 percent by E.ON. So why are they not recognized as irresponsible energy suppliers in Germany? Because its a German company? I feel there is politics involved here. The other thing that an Encyclopedia shouldn't do is get to involved with affect. I don't see that the article of Hitler or Stalin begins with a statement like "Hitler was a really bad guy". An encyclopedia should describe something and if you want to know how bad Exxon is go out and look for it in information that Greenpeace gives. I dont see a serious article about Vattenfall, Hitler, Greece or whatever begins with what some politician, whose first aim is to get votes, point of view. But then again we may state in the article of Venezuela that the U.S. politician Bush really thinks that these guys are one of the Evil Empire. Give me relevans please! ----Pwa66 (talk) 23:45, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
