- Notes
- "may have been influenced by these Asiatic cosmologies from a northern." - there is a missing word here: from a northern what?
- "...asks High what other notable facts..." - can an adjective be provided indicating who High is? Like "asks the deity High..." or "asks High, a wise deity,...".
- Both issues fixed. Thanks for reviewing the article! :bloodofox: (talk) 03:06, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Name on the eagle
editThe swedish wikipedia about Hræsvelgr states it as the name for the eagle on top of Yggdrasil. Some clarification or discussion about this maybe? Neither article says anything about theories behind its chose in keeping it named or unnamed... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.177.174.137 (talk) 22:17, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, the name Hraesvelgr is a name used on other-language wikis, such as not just the Swedish Wiki, but the German as well! WHY is the eagle still un-named, when there is apparently some precedent that it may be named Hraesvelgr?? :Predabot: (talk) 03:06, 23 July 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.162.84.39 (talk)
IP Additions & Misinformation Regarding Hræsvelgr
editRecently ([1]) some anonymous IPs have been inserting some assumptions that the sources do not support as simple fact. To be clear, at no point in the source material is this eagle given a name and, further, at nowhere in the source material is the eagle linked to Hræsvelgr. Find a scholar connecting the two and we can specifically cite that scholar in doing so. This sort of confused and misinformed editing is a big problem in general on Wikipedia and needs to be reverted on sight. In the mean time, related fowl, including Hræsvelgr, remain linked in the article's "see also" section. :bloodofox: (talk) 01:14, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
