Disambig-cleanup

edit

I just cleaned up this disambig page because it was so tagged, and because it really needed a cleanup. If you think the article got worse, please consider this before changing it again:

  • I know nothing about Vedic religion AND I DON'T NEED TO; I do disambig patrol and I stick to WP:MOSDAB, the guidelines for the style of disambiguation pages;
  • Disambig pages consist of lists of other articles, but not any title can go in: disambig pages serve one and only one purpose - to help steer a Wikipedia user toward the right article among several that could have the same title;
  • For the "Vedic religion" disambig page, the articles listed are the ones and only the ones that could also be titled "Vedic religion", or to which "Vedic religion" could be redirected; now that you have this in mind, you can decide whether Hinduism, Śrauta or Vedanta or any other title could also be titled "Vedic religion" and thus merit being on this disambig page.

That makes sense, some work should be done to clarify it further and to make sure it redirects to other pages that are sometimes called Vedic Religion. Wikidās ॐ 10:34, 26 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

The text at the bottom seems totally out of place. Anyone? -Lorri — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.160.218.174 (talk) 20:11, 28 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
