There are a ton of good diagrams of plain venturis and ventiuri meters that can be found on Google Image Search. My drawing skill is not good; can somebody redraw one? Rpresser 20:14, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- I have uploaded an image (GFDL'ed) of an actual Venturi Tube apparatus from Green Hope High School Physics department. In other considerations, we should really consider a merge - I may merge this article with Venturi Effect.Nimur 14:39, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

This looks like an eponymous name, especially since it's getting written with a capital initial letter. Who is its eponym? The article should say. Michael Hardy 20:52, 2 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Accuracy
editI doubt it is true that orifice plates are less accurate than venturis for measuring mass flow. More likely the other way round. It is true that the pressure drop from a venturi is very much less though. Man with two legs 18:47, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
For flow measurement, it is easier to make a very accurate orifice than a very accurate venturi. There is more to a venturi, so there will be more imperfections in it. NuicWen (talk) 06:35, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
