editTo avoid WP:3RR, I'm taking this issue to the talk page. I made a series of edits to improve the overall quality of the page and am facing User:Mr. bobby who is taking ownership of the page claiming "you should create your own page, buddy". I removed one image, which was excessive, to improve the page's layout and also removed redlinks from the See also section [1]. Please explain your reverts. editThe consensus is against removing the third image. There is no consensus on other options like using a gallery so there is no prejudice against discussing that option further in a new discussion.

The page currently has three images - given the length/size of the page, should the third image be removed to improve the page's layout? Meatsgains (talk) 21:42, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
- I think images are especially important on an articles about the artefacts so it's good to have as many possible. And the three images are of three different figurines so they all bring something new to the article. However, I also understand the concern about stretching out such a short page. Perhaps a compromise would be to select one image to put alongside the text in the lead, and put the rest in a horizontally-aligned gallery so they don't disrupt the flow of the page? – Joe (talk) 09:40, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
- Stating the obvious, this is not so much too many images, as too little text, removing the images would not remedy thatIMO. They are not 'too many' in the sense of being repetitive or providing no info. Possibly the gallery option would make sense. Pincrete (talk) 05:55, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
- I agree with with Pincrete, in that a gallery option or something similar would be preferable. Expanding the article would help, but regardless of that the images do help show the article's subject matter. Could it be done with just two yes, but with three I don't feel it is a problem having three. WikiVirusC(talk) 19:55, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
- No For once we have decent images of such objects. Fine as they are, or could use a gallery, but there is no need. Johnbod (talk) 13:19, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
- One possibility is to use {{Commons}} or {{Commons-inline}}. Gallery might work, too, if the article isn't expanded. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:36, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
- I have added a commons link, which of course the article should have, although there are only these three images. But that is different issue and has no bearng on this. Johnbod (talk) 11:13, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
