I have found no reference anywhere to Fr. Gallagher's death, so in the absence of evidence to the contrary, I am going to assume he's alive (and 96 years old). Joseph Rishel's 1997 book interviews him, so he certainly still living in 1997. Then again, Duquesne established an academic chair in his name in 2005, which would suggest to me that he's deceased. If anyone can find a reference to his death or an obituary, please add it. — AJDS talk 03:52, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
