Section on Barbe-Nicole herself?

edit

Considering that a new biography of the Barbe-Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin has been published recently (Lilar Mazzeo's "The Widow Clicquot"), it is probably worth expanding the section on the Widow herself. I'm actually inclined to give her her own page separate from the page about the company/wine (since it could easily dominate this page), but thought I would see if there were any other thoughts before doing so. --8.11.254.188 (talk) 20:23, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why not begin with a section here, and then if it becomes overwhelming, take it away on its own leaving behind a concise paragraph along with the link {{main|Barbe-Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin}} ..? MURGH disc. 20:34, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bottles from shipwreck off Åland

edit

It might be noted that the bottles found outside Åland in July 2010, and initially claimed by divers as Veuve Clicquot, were identified by VCP as being from another, long defunct Champagne house - Juglar. The information therefore does not belong in this article. See for example "Shipwrecked champagne good, but not ours: Veuve-Clicquot". Tomas e (talk) 21:02, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Several bottles were determined to be Veuve Clicquout, and in fact one was sold recently (today) at auction according to an article by Reuters [1] setting a new world record (which should perhaps be added to the article). 98.70.77.178 (talk) 20:52, 3 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello, everyone. Am I totally wrong claiming that these shipwreck-bottles are the oldest known ones of VC? Should this Scotland-castle-found part be edited? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.197.48.129 (talk) 11:43, 11 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Veuve Clicquot. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
