editAnyone up for making the pronunciation IPA? I would, but I'm not sure of it myself. --Finlay 10:28, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
Does anyone know what film format was used to shoot the video? Some kind of 8mm is my best guess? Counti8 14:53, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Is posting the Mp3 of this song legal?
- The link refers to the same file listed on the download section of the band's official site (http://sigur-ros.co.uk/media/), so probably yes.
Boy/Girl controversy
editThe "Video" section of this article has been changed several times recently. Obviously, no one is certain if the rumor about the one "boy" being played by a girl is true or not.
Where did this rumor originate? Is it just a common belief by fans, or did someone in the know state it first?
If there isn't any way to cite the rumor and where it originated, I think it should probably be taken out entirely. Jphillst 06:03, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
This is "common knowledge" in Iceland, as it was discussed rather heavily at the time. I've dug up a news segment from the time, located here, where one of the child actors says "This one is supposed to play a boy". Nazionale~iswiki (talk) 15:56, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
Quote/name origin
editI was going to "correct" the claim that Iceland's current president had come up with the phrase Viðrar vel til loftárása since it doesn't appear in the text of the link story but the president does lay claim to it himself in the audiofile (4:20). So this is likely true. Guðni isn't known for lying. Óli Gneisti (talk) 18:29, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
Wrong link -- NME Article
editThe link to an article about the music video in the references leads to something about Game of Thrones instead. DemonDays64 (talk) 00:12, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
