Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

I have serious doubts that this article is correct. According to the Portuguese Wikipedia, Brazil never was a viceroyalty (even though some of its governors were called vice-roys). I couldn't find references claiming that Brazil was officially a viceroyalty. If someone has references please present them. Otherwise, I'll move this article to "State of Brazil" and ask for the deletion of this page. Thanks in advance. Renato (talk) 21:35, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
In the Hebrew Wikipedia, this article doesn't exist anymore and it was "replaced" by "State of Brazil", with a link to the corresponding article in the Portuguese Wikipedia: pt:Estado do Brasil. Renato (talk) 10:47, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
This article should be deleted, it doesn't provide any source, and there are no official registers of the Portuguese crown using this nomenclature. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hesteriana (talk • contribs) 00:42, 10 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
