– No evidence that the 17th century King of Lan Xang is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC at this name. The dab page at Wichai has multiple people, all of whom are named Vichai, and therefore we should move that to the primary location. Suggestions on the proper rename for the King would be appreciated, by suggestion is Vichai, King of Lan Xang, but there's probably a style guide for monarch names. - Support with a dab page No primary topic, and doesn't make sense for a name list to be spelled different that all of its entires. As for the king's target, use Vichai (king), create Vichai (disambiguation) and move Wichai to Vichai (given name). Alternatively, use Vichai, King of Lan Xang if its a common title that meets WP:NATURALDIS (no opinion), and moved the name to Wichai—no dab page would be needed then. —Bagumba (talk) 08:45, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Support (as creator of the Wichai given name page). Prefer either Vichai (king) or Vichai (king of Lan Xang), with uncapitalised k, since WP:NCROY doesn't have specific guidelines for non-European royals. The NATURALDIS option would probably be Chao Vichai, but it isn't used nearly commonly enough. Move the name page Wichai to Vichai; no separate disambiguation page is necessary.--Paul_012 (talk) 16:09, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
