editVictor E. Rillieux's page should not be deleted. He is famous because he was the most prolific writer in Louisiana of his time, and that his brother is the famous Norbert Rillieux. Aearthrise (talk) 19:58, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
Hi Aearthrise, Victor and Norbert were not brothers. Norbert's father, Vincent Rillieux, died in 1833, about 13 years prior to Victor's birth (per the newspapers Vincent Rillieux died of a stroke, per family records, he died in a duel (source: Degas in New Orleans, author: Christopher Benfey)). Victor was the son of Pierre Rillieux and Marie Louise Dusuau; Pierre's grandfather Pierre Rillieux was the brother of Vincent's father Vincent Rillieux. Mylorin (talk) 20:40, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
