The biography of Victor Pilon submitted to Wikipedia is factual and does not promote his company or artwork. It is meant to provide encyclopedic information into the artistic life of Mr. Pilon. Mr. Pilon is a significant Canadian multimedia artists who has received both the Order of Canada and the Order of Quebec, whose work is found in the National Archives of Canada and is studies in Drama and theater departments in universities around the world. The submitted biography is meant to provide academic and artistic information as to his practice not to sell his work. The text was written in the same informational style as other prominent canadian and international artists such as Robert Lepage, Leonard Cohen or the late Kate MacGarrigle. We do not understand your objections and we contest your decision. In light of the information we kindly ask that you review the proposed text again and let us know what part makes you believe that this is a promotional piece.Reply
