Do not equate Victory University with Crichton College
editThey were VASTLY DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONS. As a Crichton Alum I find this page infuriating. Crichton was a board run small Christian Liberal Arts College. Victory was a terrible consequence of association. The closing of Crichton occurred a few years after I had graduated; as a result of many changes I witnessed that took place over Crichton’s last years. The board had dissolved and all admissions staff were laid off. Then the building was acquired by an online entity and any students who wished to remain (or who were stuck close too close to graduation) were grandfathered into an entirely different FOR PROFIT doomed-to-fail-degree-machine of an institution. Most of my academic peers HATE the association made between these two entirely different organizations. And any faculty or student that could transfer elsewhere did so by the droves. Please remove Victory University from this page. 50.86.55.87 (talk) 06:21, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
This page is garbage
editPlease for the love of all things holy, someone fix this ridiculous history that says Crichton was a for-profit institution based out of California. This article is complete garbage and Victory University and the choices of the final board and president continue to ruin the reputation of Crichton with this infuriating association that was an eleventh hour acquisition. A mere thread of faculty and students without recourse remained. If only she had died an honorable death, Crichton may have salvaged her reputation from the embarrassment that was Victory University. 50.86.55.87 (talk) 06:31, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
