Staffan de Mistura

edit

On 2Feb2016,14:27, Axxxion removed from the ISSG peace plan of 14 Nov 2015 the element of Staffan de Mistura being assigned to decide who should represent the Syrian opposition in the (envisioned) (Geneva) negotiations, while leaving several other elements of that plan intact. As vague motivation for that bit scrapping he mentioned that it was either “ungrammaticl” or “meaningless”/irrelevant. If it was “ungrammaticl”, then why not constructively repair the grammar of it? If it was meaningless/irrelevant, then why? Were those seventeen countries in Vienna bothering their heads off with irrelevant issues? --Corriebertus (talk) 12:36, 9 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

I notice that Axxxion, while either not noticing this discussion section or ignoring it -- even though I asked his attention for it on his Talk page, 9Feb12:36, and even though my edit in the article(9Feb,12:36) explicitly refers to this discussion section -- on 9Feb,20:53 immediately again removed the remark of Staffan de Mistura's assignment, from the November 2015 section. Axxxion's 'motivation' says: "text as per the sources". Yes, his texts are 'per the sources'. But that does not account for Axxxion's removing parts from the section that also are 'per the sources'. Please, mr. Axxx: Wiki is a cooperative project. Therefore - as I've stated already twice on your talk page - it is just a matter of civility to motivate your edits. Just having made many contributions to an article doesn't make you the privileged owner of the article. --Corriebertus (talk) 14:30, 13 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Canada joins the International Syria Support Group

edit

On May 17, 2016, Canada accepted an invitation from the United States and Russia to join the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) and to participate in the discussions held that day in Vienna, Austria. Canada is now a full participant in the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) forum, including its subsidiary task forces on ceasefire and humanitarian issues. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LDWO-Digital (talkcontribs) 20:07, 18 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
