Reliable source?
editI question whether http://www.hammersmashedsound.com/ is a reliable source; it appears to be a blog. I also question www.planetarysanctum.com; it looks like a user-generated discussion forum. www.eveningoflight.nl looks like it could be reliable, so I'm inclined to leave it for now.
Can the reliability of these sites be established by someone? If not, I can check with WP:RSN and see what they have to say.
I have also removed a bunch of definitely unreliable sources, such as last.fm and discogs.com. As these are user-edited sites, they are not reliable. I decided to add an overall refimprove tag, but those sentences that are now unsupported should be re-sourced to reliable sources, or removed.
Lastly, I removed the Facebook link per WP:FACEBOOK. I'm not sure the Myspace link belongs either (again per WP:FACEBOOK). However, if the band has no official website other than one of these, I could support including one or the other. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 00:36, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
Date format
editPer WP:DATERET, the format an article uses should stick with what was first used, unless "strong national ties" are involved, as detailed in WP:STRONGNAT. From what I've seen, at least in most music-related articles that I've come across, a specific article's date format should reflect the country the band comes from. Based on this, I'd suggest that the date format be changed to Month Day, Year. However, I figured it might be worth discussing first, if there are any objections to this change.
