VPCode
editI think that a more elaborate description of VP's machine code is needed here (since there isn't an article on VPCode yet): a technical description, a historical background, its relation to TAOS and Amiga, etc. (eg.: see this description here (which is already an external link), and this tutorial; I'm not suggesting to transform the article into a manual, but to at least give some practical examples of what, say, processor-independent means (which, by the way, isn't even mentioned here). -- Omnipedian (talk) 18:49, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
To Chris Hinsley
editThank you for your contribution, but cut-and-pasted marketing material isn't appropriate for a Wikipedia article, even if it is accurate. Among other things, it's plaintext and not properly formatted; it discusses the state of the industry 18 years ago in the present tense; being intended for marketing, it's clearly not neutral on the subject; and it includes the full text of a primary source. Also, there are potential but not insurmountable conflict-of-interest issues since you were involved in VP's creation; please see Am I allowed to edit articles about myself or my organization? for details on how you can still contribute. Finally, if you create a user account it'll be easier for others to communicate with you and assist. Thanks for your help, and I hope you'll return! -- Phasma Felis (talk) 21:44, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
