Prog Rock

edit

How in the heck is this album categorized as PROG ROCK?

And besides, what's all this about his house having been searched by police?

POV?

edit

Is it me or does this article sound like an album review from the pages of NME? There are no sources listed anywhere (for example, "cited as his worst track....") and tons of descriptive/non-neutral terms. Its just a track-by-track interpretation of the album showcasing the opinions of whomever wrote this. Seems that several Morrissey album articles are written the same way. Anyone else want to chime in on this, or am I being too critical? P.S. I have also placed this tag and message on Kill Uncle. -- eo 18:49, 6 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

To me it just seems like the Songs section is screwy. Some of the descriptions are fine, but some are very Pitchfork-pretentious style, which may be good for their site, but not for WP. I agree with your critique. Folkor 16:03, 7 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
I feel that this edit really gutted the article. The information on the context of the album was removed, while the entire section outlining the songs was excised. I can understand cleaning up POV, but this seems to be wholesale removal of content. Acegikmo1 01:00, 24 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well the reason I did this was I felt that on the whole, there wasn't any real content to be honest. It was just a bunch of fragmented POV comments on the songs, with no real sources or specifics. If you think I went overboard, feel free to restore it, but I think that the article should be rebuilt from where it is now, so that it's more focused and legible. I'd be more than willing to help with this, but I just cut out all the questionable material to make things easier. --TLIP 02:19, 24 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Can anyone find out who the writers of the songs are? Words by Morrissey yes but Music?

Since Allmusic have changed the syntax of their URLs, 2 link(s) used in the article do not work anymore and can't be migrated automatically. Please use the search option on http://www.allmusic.com to find the new location of the linked Allmusic article(s) and fix the link(s) accordingly, prefereably by using the {{Allmusic}} template. If a new location cannot be found, the link(s) should be removed. This applies to the following external links:

Eamonn McCabe / Macabe

edit

The article credits Eamonn Macabe with photography. Surely it should credit Eamonn McCabe. WBMyall (talk) 18:29, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
