Actually his name Vladimir Vladimirovich Matyushenko is translated from Russian Владимир Владимирович Матюшенко. In Belarusian his name is Уладзімір Уладзіміравіч Мацюшэнка. He was a citizen of the USSR. He is a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, but lives in the USA. He's never been Russian.
