Old talk
editVlad Listyev undoubtedly was not only the best journalist in corrupted Russia but also a wonderful person. His personal life was tragic and many people did not know anything about him behind the scene. The mass media began speculating on his death with the only aim of making profit by selling their articles. Loads of unjust things were said about him, many people who even did not know him personally began to tell lies about his background and life, and at the same time those who were pretending to be his friends discovered their real personality shortly after his murder. Such as Andrei Razbash, for example, not only "inherited" a great part of the capital in VID but also his third wife Albina Nazimova. There were rumours about a possible family connection with his murder, as his last wife inherited almost everything after his death, and his son Alexander was threatened and his family had to sell their part of shares at a very low price. Nevertheless, the main version of his murder is commercial, and almost everybody in Russia suspects that it was Berezovskyi (who now asked for "political asilum" in UK) who paid the killers to murder Vlad Listyev (as his motives are transparent to everyone, even to common citizens). But until there is no political will to find and punish those who assesinated him nothing can be done. Not only the police and those at power knows the names of the killers but also many citizens, but the corruption and "political pacts" with the former president of Russia makes the investigation impossible. Even after 10 years Vlad is remembered and loved by milliions of people in every corner of Russia. Thus, he lives in us, through his memory and love.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.58.4.46 (talk • contribs)
