Unclear wording, uncited assertion

In the section entitled "Vodafone Group plc: 2000 to present" the article reads "Vodafone then went on to acquire Japan's third-largest mobile operator J-Phone, which had introduced camera phones first in Japan"[cited ref to a BBC article]. The cited reference makes no mention of camera phones (perhaps the ref cite tag should follow "J-Phone" in the sentence, as it refers to the acquisition rather than to camera phones) and it's unclear whether this sentence means that "J-Phone introduced camera phones first in the world, in Japan [then elsewhere in the world]" or "J-Phone were the first to introduce camera phones to Japan". Perhaps the uncited reference to camera phones should simply be deleted. Tonywalton Talk 23:08, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
