Voilà the word

edit

As per the style guidelines for disambiguation pages, information about the actual word Voilà belongs either in Wiktionary or in a new article such as Voilà (interjection) (if it meets notability guidelines). Here is what I removed: --Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 18:24, 19 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Voilà! (IPA: [vwala], approximately vwa-lah or wa-lah) is a French interjection roughly equivalent to "See!" or "There!". In English, voilà or voila is a cultural reference to a magician performing a neat trick for the audience.

I disagree . . . that style guideline only holds if that would be the ONLY thing in the article, not if it's simply additional information. 24.121.134.52 (talk) 09:20, 8 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
