Alfa Cívis 12

edit

I believe that these buses are not 7700, but an own development by Alfabusz on the B9L chassis. (That is why there were prototypes for instance.) They were intentionally visually similar to the 7700s, but the interior gives away that it's a different type (with many resemblances to their earlier type B7RLE Alfa Localo). The Cívis 18 buses, on the other hand, are genuine 7700As built in Wroclaw. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.1.192.203 (talk) 23:16, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi and thanks for pointing this out! When I wrote the article I looked at photos and couldn't see any significant difference, so I just assumed that they were 7700s. I may also habe been a bit confused by the case with the Cívis 18s. But now I looked a lot more closely on the photos and I even see that there is a major constructional difference. On all versions of the 7000/7700, the top part of the sides, above the side windows, curve a bit inwards towards the roof making them a bit rounded, but on the Cívis 12 it goes straight up and only rounds off at the very top. This means that the very frame structure of the bodywork is somewhat different, and that they, as you point out, are only made to look similar. I will fix the article shortly. :-) Bergenga (talk) 21:56, 1 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
