English equivalent
editIs there really no equivalent for this in the English language? How do people from English speaking countries call this part of towns? I. e. the former outskirts of town, just outside "the city walls", which transitioned to be rather central as the city grew over surrounding area? — Daniel FR (talk) 15:52, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
