Academic or pop?

Is it academic or popular science? I'd guess it's the second; this should be made clear in the article. Also, I think this type of publication is better classified as a magazine, not a newspaper.-- _{Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk}  17:24, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

P.P., unless you are able to read Lithuanian, your suppositions (I'd guess it's the second) are not the way to solve the answer to your own question. I will say that your previous endeavors at the English WP are not lacking as to using both magazines and newspaper to source information and create articles. So where are you going with this, and how important is it to spend time, satisfying your opinion. We've got millions of articles to write. Dr. Dan 22:11, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Voruta calls itself "laikrastis", which is lithuanian for "newspaper". So I guess it's fair to call it a newspaper, and not a magazine. Also, it's is NOT an academic paper, as most of the topics are political ones, various reports from sessions of Vilnius rayon municipality, historical celebrations and such 81.7.89.225 (talk) 11:09, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Who says its academic? It just happens so, taht it also publishes academic authors. And a little remark - nations end ethnicity names in English are written capitalised, e.g Lihuanian, Polish etc.--Lokyz (talk) 11:35, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
