First flight

edit

According to Aerofiles[1] it flew for the first time on August 14 1939, not September 14 1939. Which date is correct? Drutt (talk) 01:21, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've looked in 3 (so far) print sources that I have, and they all say Sept. 14, 1939 for the first tethered flight. Can cite if needed. - BillCJ (talk) 01:32, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's sad that wikipedia has no content on this aircraft. Time for me to find a real encyclopedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.108.42.8 (talk) 17:45, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Seems to be contradicting info on the size of the engine: 75 or 90?  FrostedΔ14  16:02, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

According to Munson, the helicopter was originally built with a 75 hp engine. For its first flight (untethered), it was equipped with a 90 hp engine. It was later configured with a 150 hp engine. --Born2flie (talk) 16:33, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
