Vasil Shanto
edit@Vanjagenije: you added back a source which reportedly mentioned that Vasil Shanto was born or came from Vraka. The source which wasn't cited in correct format doesn't discuss Vasil Shanto. It's an agricultural industry news bulletin published in Socialist Albania, 1970. I tracked the edit back to 2014 by a banned editor. On p.109, the agricultural news bulletin says: Eksperimenti është kryer në kooperativën bujqësore "Vasil Shanto" - Vrakë të rrethit të Shkodrës
[The experiment was conducted in the agricultural cooperative "Vasil Shanto" in Vrakë, Shkodër County]. The banned editor isolated the words Vasil Shanto» Vrakë të rrethit të Shkodrës
to make it look as if it discussed Vraka as Vasil Shanto's birthplace or place of origin. An agriculture magazine as a source by itself should have raised a lot question marks. @Alltan: when you remove sources write an explanation at the talkpage. Even if all 18k you removed in your edit was correctly removed, it would be very difficult to understand what was going on. I bothered to check the Vasil Shanto claim but that is because when I saw the title of the source (in Albanian) I was immediately certain that something was wrong.--Maleschreiber (talk) 15:32, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
Two paragraphers should be removed for starters.
A period of immigration existed between 1925 and 1934. This wave marked the migration of many Serb-Montenegrin families to Montenegro, Serbia proper and Kosovo, leaving their homes in Vraka behind. For example, Rrash-Kullaj was inhabited by Serbs–Montenegrins until World War II when the whole population emigrated to Yugoslavia.[1]
As part of a campaign of state promoted atheism, Albanian communist leader Enver Hoxha destroyed Serbian cemeteries and two Serb churches.[2]
The source of the first paragraph (Scepanovic) is wrong. Rrash-Kullaj was not depopulated in WWII. It had 540 inhabitants in 1950. The second source is from Tanjug 1998 and it's an official article by Milosevic's news agency. It doesn't pass WP:NPOV/RS. --Alltan (talk) 04:45, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
- I have removed the two paragraphs in question since there was no objection stated here.Alltan (talk) 21:12, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
