Definition
editPerhaps a note should be made that vrms uses Debian's free software definition, rather than the one RMS would actually use. 24.210.207.42 (talk) 01:05, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Good point. I don't know how best to word it though. It also made it to LibrePlanet's "List of software that does not respect the Free System Distribution Guidelines." p.s. "rms" when referring to the person is generally lowercase: "rms" saves having to type the shift or caps lock key. If everyone used "rms" rather than "RMS" that'd save many many keystrokes. Google's results shows About 1,550,000 results. Cogburnd02 (talk) 19:17, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Domain
editI think this page is confusing. "Vrms" is more commonly used to refer to a calculation of voltage, not an obscure software package. Jcline0 (talk) 04:12, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
- Don't know if I'd call vrms obscure or not, but nonetheless, fixed. Cogburnd02 (talk) 19:17, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

The information about the software is of historical importance and elucidates developments during the beginnings of the free software movement. It remains of current importance as inquiries with current search engines lists several current hits on the first page of search results, i.e. high priority hits. The community lists articles as recent as fall/winter 2013. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flashy4 (talk • contribs)
VRMs = Voltage Regulator Modules
editWhile plural, it could still cause for confusion when typing this into wikipedia. The current page should disambiguate VRMs from vrms. 84.87.15.22 (talk) 11:34, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
