Aircraft Company information

edit

I pulled this information out of the article and placed it here until I can determine if it is needed in the Aircraft Company articles it refers to.

  • 1932: When Lockheed-Detroit fails, Gerard "Jerry" Vultee forms the Airplane Development Corp. financed by E.L. Cord.
  • 1934: Reformed as the Airplane Manufacturing Corp. owned by AVCO (of which Cord is a partner).
  • 1936: Renamed the Vultee Aircraft Division of the Airplane Manufacturing Corp.
  • 1940: AVCO merges Stinson with Vultee to form Vultee Aircraft Inc.
  • 1943: Vultee acquires Consolidated to form Consolidated-Vultee

Self published source removed

edit

I removed the Dana Parker sources - they are self-published and were added by the author themselves back in 2014, assuming that User:DTParker1000 is the same person as Dana T. Parker. See WP:SELFPUB and WP:OR and probably some other policy as well. Best,  Mr.choppers | ✎  01:35, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
