editI received the following e-mail from the managing director of Leadership Outreach Namibia in response to a request for coordinates. I understand this is not a verifiable source nor a secondary source, so for what it's worth, here you go:
Hi Travis,
Vyf Rand (Five Dollar) is located 3.5 km SSE of Okahandja, Namibia; the of the settlement is precisely at the following latitude/longitude:
Latitude: 22˚ 0’31.76” S
Longitude: 16˚ 55’36.35” E
Vyf Rand is an informal settlement, which originated as a group of workers’ dwellings on a farm. As more and more friends and relatives arrived, it morphed into an informal settlement (the politically correct term for squatter’s camp”). It currently has approximately 3000-4000 residents. The name is derived from the original fee the farmer charged families per month for water.
Hope this helps.

- This information looks reliable. As there is now a project page on the camp and connected projects I think the "expert needed" template can go. Sure, it is still not a reliable secondary source, but on a squatter camp you will not easily find much else. I did find some more news coverage, though, which I will add soon. --Pgallert (talk) 14:25, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
