Family/background
editWhere was he born ? Details of his family and schooling would be appreciated. What about his tone-deafness and the way he tackle it ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.176.120.156 (talk) 17:14, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
Use of middle name instead of surname?
editIt seems odd to me that Mathieu is referred to by his middle name, Allaudin, instead of his surname Mathieu, which would better follow Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Biographies#Subsequent_use.
In Free Your Voice: Awaken to Life Through Singing,[1] it's clear that he's "known to his friends and colleagues as Allaudin," but in another published book, Temperament: How Music Became a Battleground for the Great Minds of Western Civilization,[2] he's simply referred to as Mathieu (after being first mentioned as "W.A. Mathieu"). Basementwall (talk) 18:43, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
