Change of article title

I propose that the article title be changed to "William George Toop Goodman", for clarity and to avoid search difficulties occasioned by the space between his initials. SCHolar44 (talk) 21:41, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

WP:COMMONNAME recommends naming an article the way the subject is usually referred to. So J. K. Rowling. Using a Trove search we find W. G. T. Goodman predominates over the full name by 6,000 hits to 20. And William George Toop Goodman redirects straight away, so anyone in possession of the full name is not penalised. But yes, Wikipedia should be kinder to people who neglect to insert the full stops. Cheers, Doug butler (talk) 00:11, 17 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
