"Ownership" changes
editThis is rehashing old territory, but the "Owner" of a radio station doesn't change until the FCC approves the transaction and the contract is fulfilled by the exchange of consideration. There are many examples of station sales that "fail to close".
As of today, the station is still owned by Salem - the FCC has not yet granted the transfer request. The fact a station is operating under an LMA while the sale is pending does not change the fact that the buyer is not yet the owner. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.37.2.254 (talk) 22:01, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
