editWBAP-TV 5 was the NBC affiliate until some time in the 1970's when it changed its call sign to KXAS. Lincmad 19:07, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
length, lack of citations
editThis could be a very good article, it has a lot of good information. It's rather long and rambling as it is with a lot of minutia that could either be eliminated or copyedited down to be more to the point. Also, there are few citations and one of those does not back up the claims in the article. Could someone more familiar with this station put some time into the article?--Rtphokie (talk) 11:24, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
City of license?
editThe article says Ft. Worth, but I thought it was Arlington. Which is correct? Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 02:41, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Mark Davis
editI can't listen to WBAP in the mornings any more since Mark Davis is gone. Its really bad! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.46.217.41 (talk) 02:40, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
WBAP Morning News "Characters" is far from encyclopedic
editThis entire section needs to be deleted and actual information added to the article. Current programming is only a small four line paragraph but for some reason the list of fictitious characters takes up half the article. "The Reverend Robert Jiltem" has more info than any real person in this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.32.193.80 (talk) 20:36, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- This section has been extensively trimmed since the whole "funny voices" section was 1/3- 1/2 of the article. It was a list of crap entries and didn't belong here at that size.
New current programming?
editIs the programming section out of date? It seems like any time I turn on the radio it is full of Krock spewing his opinionated hate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.32.193.80 (talk) 00:07, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
