1979
editIn 1979-1980, the station was owned by worrell newspapers based in Charolettesville, and still aired nbc programming. Mostly it was the 8pm show that aired at 7p, same day a week later, such as Real People, Chips and little house on the prarie, and NBC saturday sports. NBC was picked up from WRC in washington by recievers on mountain top, relayed to the studio where it was recorded for later playback, or in the case of sports, live.
