Logo shown is not correct as WZFC 104.9 FM simulcasts with WINC (AM). Correct logo and website for WXBN are nowhere to be found as of 2/2/2018. User:Rudy2alan
Rudy2alan: Yeah, I think a format flip for WXBN is imminent. Their website has been down since the WZFC flip, their social media accounts are all down, WXBN is operating DJ free and commercial free and has been since the WZFC flip. All signs point to a format flip. The collective B105 never made a dent in local country giant WUSQ-FM and really never showed up in the ratings at all. The last book WZFC/WXBN was in, they were a 0.2. Yeah, not a big draw.
I see a move back to their previous format, Active Rock. They brought in the listeners as the other "rock" station, WFQX-FM, only plays Classic Rock and the closest Active Rocker is WBHB-FM located in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania (north of Hagerstown, Maryland). They don't have a great signal into the area. Neither does WWDC-FM "DC101" out of Washington, DC and they only play crappy AltRock. As such, we are stuck old, played out rock or something you can barely hear from almost 70 miles away.
As for the logo, for now, until they either come up with a new format or if they stick with the current one, a new website, we gotta leave it as it's all we have. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 23:18 on February 2, 2018 (UTC)
