The history of WMOU dates way back at least into the 1960s when it was the primary local news station in Berlin, located on Main Street. It interspersed news with light popular music. Its main competitor, locally, was WBRL, a low-power station with only 50 watts, as I recall, but which carried evening French-language programming and old Quebec traditional reels & jigs, in addition to English news and a rock format for teens. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.92.8.162 (talk) 10:47, 28 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
