Is this really defunct?
editThere is no evidence that WPYB is no longer on the air. Both the FCC and Radio Locator links indicate that the station is still broadcasting. Also, there is no details provided as to when the station left the air or why. Specifically, is the signal dark or has there been a format change? Please provide this information or the page will be redirected back to WPYB. - Desmond Hobson (talk) 21:51, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- 1130 is just static for me here on the western side of Wake County and the station doesn't show up in Arbitron ratings for Fayetteville and they have not filed a station information profile with Arbitron yet. But none of these are evidence that the station doesn't exist. Their business phone and fax still ring (though it's before business hours there so we should check back) and they are still listed as a North Carolina News Network affiliate. A bit more investigation is needed.--Rtphokie (talk) 12:41, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- For now, I have listed this station as uncertain status based on what you left in the page history. Again, I will change it if more information arises. - Desmond Hobson (talk) 08:35, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
