The relationship between Virginia Tech and WUVT is a little complicated. WUVT is owned by an independent student media group at Virginia Tech. The broadcast license is owned by Virginia Tech. It is not accurate to say that WUVT is owned or operated by Virginia Tech. I do not post this information myself because of COI issues (I'm a WUVT DJ). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.173.125.74 (talk) 16:26, 28 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
If you have some third party sources that show the station is independent of VT, we can change the wording. The "owned and operated" is kind of a standard thing that I used (I am the one who put that there) on radio station pages as in 99.9% of cases it is correct....this would be that 0.01% :) - NeutralHomer • Talk • 17:48, 28 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
