Light bulb?

I was playing as my CAW on the PS2 version and I hit my opponent with a sledgehammer and Jerry Lawer said, " Oh My God did you see the way how that light bulb just exploded J.R?" This is one of the favorite game of all people. I love the people who likes this game. All people also likes watching raw and smackdown. Thanks to all supporters. Thank to the WWE superstars, referees, ring announcers, reporters, and even to the managers.

I believe I've heard that one. It's probably another commentary glitch. My guess is that a light tube weapon of some kind was going to be available in the game, but it never made the final game. The developers probably didn't excise the commentary blurb though. --Jtalledo (talk) 02:48, 25 July

Roster separation

Should we list the roster and Divas under the brand they are on in the game? I thought it might be easier for some people to compare the game with real life if we did that.Freebird Jackson 20:34, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Divas

The game is biased towards women, as women get very few match type options. In real life, Lita was in a cage match against Victoria, Trish was in a hardcore match against Victoria. I think that something should be put on the page that the game gives female wrestlers or Divas, very few match type alternatives. Hell, there isn't even a female 6 man tag, or 6 man battle royal. There is only up to 5 man battle royals, and thats not even included in the GM Mode, which sucks. But my opinion is besides the point, I just think that it should be noted that Divas and female created characters don't have that many options in the game concerning match types and such. --  Jลмєs Mลxx™  Msg me  My contribs  07:25, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Very true. Allow me to share a quick story. My 7 year old sister and I occasionally play this game together on the Xbox 360, and every single match we do has to involve divas (gets a bit boring LOL). She refuses to use those "big, ugly guys". When she went to main events section in the menu, she wanted to cage, table, ladder, and such matches, but I told her the divas couldn't be in matches like that. She of course asked why, and I said that THQ just decided to make it that way. She was crushed. She said that the game and the people who made it are stupid. I guess they don't realize this, but they are sending the wrong message to little girls playing this game. Divas can do pretty much everything the guys can, we've seen that through the years. Not letting them participate in 6 man tag matches or 6 person battle royals is just plain idiotic. What is the reasoning behind that? But the question isn't the bias, it's whether or not it's relevant to the article. Sure, the game may show bias, but it could also be because male wrestlers are in these match types more often, and a lot of divas aren't even greatly trained. Non-Playables

I've read at http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/smackdownvsraw2007/hints.html that you can unlock Teddy Long, and Vince McMahon by completing the GM mode five times on their respective shows, and Paul Heyman by unlocking the two GM's. I'm not sure if that's is what it's saying and I have not personally completed the requirements to unlock them yet. Should that section be changed?

It's untrue. I've used Code Breaker to access Vince McMahon and he doesn't have an intro in the game. Teddy Long doesn't even have a character portrait for the selection screen. Paul Heyman isn't even in the game. This fake cheat is similar to the one that said players could unlock Jake Roberts without a PSP in the 2006 game. --Jtalledo (talk) 15:52, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Money in the Bank Picture

Howcome there is a referee in the money in the bank picture? I played the game on Xbox 360 and it didn't have a ref in the ring for money in the bank match Sniper 99 01:40, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

why does hulk hogan,triple h and kurt angle all ways come in at 28 29 and 30 when you put them in a royal rumble match

I just checked IGN, and it gave out screenshots for the Playstation 3's WWE Smackdown! vs Raw 2008. Should someone post a new entry regarding this game? The screenshots showed Triple H, Bobby Lashley, The Undertaker, and Kane.

Yes it is. I own the game for PS2 and i unlocked it. It's just another look for the World Heavyweight Championship belt, like for the WWE championship you can make it be the spinner belt or not. 68.54.174.43 00:27, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Website

Just to note that the game's official website incorrectly states several WWE Superstars with the wrong championship accomplishments. To name a couple- has Edge as a 7 time IC Champion, Ric Flair as a 2 time wwe tag champion, 14 time WCW champion . Needless to say they bugger these upa few times. Not sure of it's worthiness to the page but nonetheless a major screw up.

Created Wrestlers and belts

i created a wrestler on the game and went and played season mode. I defeated triple h for the wwe championship, but when i play in a match, i dont have the belt, but the graphic that show my name during the entrance still describes me as the WWE champ. That happened to me too. I bet Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Chapionship as a created wrestler and I didn't have the belt in my entarance. I guess it's confirmed that Created Wrestlers don't have the belt in their entrances (I'll add it to the glitches section). Socks 01 08:47, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

It depends on your entrance animations. Animations for people like Cena, Khali, Kane have thier own unique title animations when they come down to the ring, so if your CAS has that animation when they come to the ring, they WONT have the title. Its the same with the "Superstar" entrances. Pretty Suks IMO. AJ 12:15, August 02 2007 (UTC)

No. There are no cheats for any WWE SvR games. However, there are hacks for the PS2 version.

Are the achievements broken for: In Ring Journeyman Win at least one match using every Superstar on the roster on any difficulty setting.

In Ring Technician Defeat every Superstar on the roster by pin or submission at least once on hard difficulty.

on the selection screen it shows him on raw, however on gm mode and loading screens it shows him on smackdown. was him being on raw a mistake?
