Uncategorized and links to other articles tab should be removed
editI added categories. Added a side box, fixed references, added links to other articles and added a references box. Fresh Prince Carlton (talk) 06:43, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
Is this page for real? Danis2cool (talk) 18:40, 12 May 2010 (UTC) Oh, and I know this is not related to the article but, I need help on something. I pushed some kind of button on the keyboard or clicked on something and now I don't see any pictures on any pages, just text, PLEASE HELP! Danis2cool (talk) 18:43, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
This page is legit, notice the references, links to other articles and normal setup? I still don't know why they removed that tab at the top. Obviously they shouldn't remove all the text from the tab but the Links to other articles should be removed. Fresh Prince Carlton (talk) 17:59, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
Is NXT included?
editI want to know if the game will include WWE NXT. Since ECW will not be included because of disbandment of the third brand, will NXT take it's place or not?--Mikeymike2001 (talk) 08:20, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- i think that ECW wil be included like WCW was in SD VS RAW 2009 and 2010 and since NXT is a WWE brand it wil be included in the game —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.167.192.164 (talk) 12:55, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
- Absolutely none of that has been confirmed, so please don't add speculation.ECWAGuru (talk) 23:55, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Well ECW didn't end until feb 2010, with NXT starting at the end of the month I can't see why the disbandment of ECW isnt incorporated into the game somehow, at least the storyline. It really depends when the cutoff date for the game rosters is. If not this year, some of these NXT guys will at least be in SD VS RAW 2012. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cooly123 (talk • contribs) 23:22, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
About your question if Nexus is been included: The answer is yes. (http://www.wrestling-edge.com/wwe-news/undertaker-vs-kane-at-msg-updated-sd-vs-raw-2011-roster-more.html). --189.216.249.33 (talk) 22:22, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
- It's their NXT costumes, and the NXT arena; Nexus is not in (no black and gold, big Ns and the like...) 214.3.138.234 (talk) 14:57, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Steve
Road to WrestleMania
editIt should create an article called "Road to WrestleMania", giving information about this story mode that has been watching from WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, bringing who the "Road to WrestleMania", which game has been and what has been the argument of each story. I think so.
Thanks for your time. --Ponce (talk) 00:15, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
MiniTron
editWhat's a MiniTron?--189.216.58.172 (talk) 19:32, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- A MiniTron is a computer-generated graphic that plays alongside the Titantron video.--Mikeymike2001 (talk) 20:28, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
Speculation and Misinterpretation
editSome of it could be due to making paragraphs out of disparate, piecemeal info as it comes in, but some of the issues are just a mess due to writing. GamingRing did not "confirm that a new starting position (for create-a-finishers) was from the top turnbuckle," they quoted the interviewee as saying you could now sit the opponent up there and initiate moves from there, as well as the Tree of Woe no longer being a canned animation. Also, was the first DLC really confirmed as "a smokin' outfit for Kelly Kelly," or is that conjecture? If that is an actual quote, perhaps it belongs in quotes, and should be sourced? Lots of little stuff like that starting to pop up. 214.3.138.234 (talk) 11:01, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Steve
Cover art
editI'm not sure an entire section should be dedicated to the cover art, it could be added in a release section, but it doesn't really warrent its own section. --The Taerkasten (talk) 13:33, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- I think it's right to note that each continent gets its own cover art. Just because it's something unique and it will be fair to friends in the UK and wherever else the cover is different. Just advertising one cover on here seems prejudece. --The Dark Lord of Wiki! (Your Ruler) 21:08, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not saying it shouldn't be in the article, I'm saying that it should not have its own section. What I'm proposing is that when a release section is created, then the information should go there. It doesn't justify having one short paragraph about the cover art, with its own section. But it should be included.--The Taerkasten (talk) 12:36, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Alright. Agreed. When a Release section is created, it can go there. But until then, it has enough information to have its own section, since it's still in a developmental state. I've seen shorter sections before. --The Dark Lord of Wiki! (Your Ruler) 19:23, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
NZ Release Date?
editIs it really October 1st. Or is it a case of the two online stores not updating the actual date? DonJerome316 (talk) 14:16, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Per WP:RS and WP:VG/RS#Retailers, vendors are not considered reliable sources. The refs need to be removed.--The Taerkasten (talk) 14:27, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Roster
editWill the roster be listed on the page once it's announced? I know it is for past games, or at least was.Freebird (talk) 04:35, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- It's not on any of the past ones, but it's here, despite not being confirmed or sourced. I think I'm going to go ahead and delete that.214.3.138.234 (talk) 11:45, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Steve
Pre-order
editI noticed a pre-order perks paragraph. Gamestop is oferring $20 off Survivor Series or TLC PPV's. I would add it myself, but I'm not very good at editing.Freebird (talk) 04:43, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- I made the pre-order section, and I have all of those sourced. But the GameStop pre-order does NOT have a source. Please give me one and it can be added. --☯The Dark Lord of Wiki☯ (talk) 18:48, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

- Works for me. --☯The Dark Lord of Wiki☯ (talk) 15:47, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- Are these even "pre-order" bonuses? The Best Buy site just says "order the game from Best Buy to receive Bret Hart..." and the store said they weren't doing a preorder for the game... I think they're just "exclusive" pack-in codes, like what Best Buy is doing with Split Second and other games. 71.171.103.194 (talk) 23:51, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Steve
Listing the Roster
editNow that the roster has been officially announced, would it be correct to create a section showing who will be in the game?--☯The Dark Lord of Wiki☯ (talk) 16:39, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, but the 2010 version didn't have a roster list.--Mikeymike2001 (talk) 16:42, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
- It is usually improper to list the roster of a video game as it is typically seen as (fan) cruft. That's why it keeps getting removed. ⒺⓋⒾⓁⒼⓄⒽⒶⓃ② talk 02:30, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
theirs an error on this page. bret hart is already in the game. when you pre order from best buy, you get his alternative attire (his more recent attire with shorts and a t shirt). i know this because iwatched the roster reveal and they admitted that they made an error saying bret hart is the pre order download from best buy and that its actually his alterntive attire —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.2.111.42 (talk) 03:39, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
- I watched it, too. You are lying. 214.3.138.234 (talk) 16:08, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Steve
- Please try to remain civil in these matters. ⒺⓋⒾⓁⒼⓄⒽⒶⓃ② talk 21:59, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
I don't believe listing the roster is fancruft, I understand that on previous SDvR pages there is no roster lists, but I don't think its a thing that only a few people would like to read. Especially in the future if you look through the old games and want to know what wrestlers are in it. CrimsonThunder04 (talk) 19:33, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

I think Randy Orton has a Road to Wrestlemania, because a few days ago Marcus confirmed that the selection paletee was kinda old,and if you look at the Road to Wrestlemania pictures you can see Randy fighting Undertaker, Cm Punk, MVP, and The Miz,and I think MVP was added to the Vs.Undertaker Road to Wrestlemania --72.192.124.176 (talk) 23:55, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

Cleared UP the Verbiage
editThought the new paragraph prompted by the IGN article was a little confusing/misleading, so I cleaned it up a bit. You can create up to 50 CAWs/CAS, you can only use 15 at a time in story designer up to an unlimited number of appearances, that sort of thing (originally it said you could now use CAWs/CAS, and can make up to 15). Spelling out "create a superstar" also helped to diferentiate between "Create a Wrestler/Create a Superstar" and "Create a Storyline" which were used alternatingly. Also, "health triggers" can initiate cut scenes during a match; there are no "health triggers" within cut scenes, because there's no way for a superstar to "lose health" outside of a match. 214.3.138.234 (talk) 16:56, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Steve
