Fair use rationale for Image:Y100Fez2002.jpg
editImage:Y100Fez2002.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

WXPN-HD2 → Y-Not Radio — This article traces the lineage of Philadelphia radio station Y100, the latest incarnation of which is Y-Not Radio.--Ynotradio (talk) 16:13, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
- Strongest Oppose Possible/Hoax: "Station" website redirects to a blogspot.com blog. Also, Y-Rock on XPN remains here on the WXPN website, it also remains at WXPN-HD2. This is a clear hoax. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 00:11, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
- Strong Oppose as radio station articles in the United States are named for the official call sign, not the transitory branding. - Dravecky (talk) 05:50, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

WXPN-HD2 → WPLY-FM – This page chronicles the history of WPLY-FM, most commonly known as Y100, a radio station that existed in Philadelphia, PA from 1993-2005. The station no longer exists and the "Y100" branding is no longer carried on WXPN-HD2. Y100's branding is now carried by online station Y-Not Radio. Ynotradio (talk) 18:49, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
- Strongest Oppose Possible: The Y-Rock name was "folded" into the new XPN2 (WXPN-HD2). Still yet, there is no reason to move a legally ID'd page to a fake callsign (which is against naming convensions anyway). There isn't a station under the "WPLY-FM" callsign and WXPN-HD2 continues to exist, so this is moot. The requesting user has requested page moves before to a blogspot.com blog page for a station that is online only (which wouldn't hold up to GNG anyway) and isn't even remotely connected with the old WPLY or the current WXPN-HD2. It's just some guy, in his apartment with a blog and a website stream, who is "borrowing" the "Y100" branding (copyrights anyone?). Not a real station, not a real callsign, no need to move. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 22:11, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
- Suggestion for Resolution: Perhaps the history of Y100 should be removed to the entry for the station that currently occupies its old frequency - WRNB-FM. It has no place on the WXPN-HD2 entry under Wikipedia's guidelines for radio stations. Y100 was never owned or technically affiliated by WXPN, only "borrowed" as Neutralhomer puts it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ynotradio (talk • contribs) 22:59, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
- Response: Actually WXPN owned the rights to the "Y-Rock" name, which is how they used it. They probably still do, a good reason not to use it on the web (copyrights). The information for Y-Rock on 107.9 is on this page. There is no need to move things around where they don't belong. WXPN-HD2 is the "final resting place" for the "Y-Rock" branding. The history for WPLY is on this page as it is the last place "Y-Rock" aired. Moving isn't an option. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 23:03, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
- Response: We're talking about 2 different issues then. Under your guidelines Y100/WPLY and Y-Rock are 2 different things and the history of WPLY should not be listed under WXPN HD2. WXPN never owned Y100/WPLY. Y100/WPLY was owned by Radio One and was never sold. WXPN simply hired former Y100 employees to do similar programming to that of Y100/WPLY. The final resting place of Y100 was on WPLY-FM and therefore the history of that station should be contained in a separate entry from WXPN-HD2. comment added by Ynotradio —Preceding undated comment added 03:57, 8 November 2011 (UTC).

To Answer the Lineage Question once and for all
editTo answer the much debated and sometime controversial Lineage Question once and for all, the Lineage of the old Y100 is now at YNotRadio, however this Lineage does not even include Y100's entire time on the Radio just the Final 8 Years (or Post-WDRE Era) of the Station (1997-2005), prior to that the Lineage was at WDRE but once again that Lineage does not include all of WDRE's time as a Station in Philadelphia just the last 15 Months when it was a Locally Operated Station in Philadelphia and not the first 3 years when it was only a simulcast of a station in Long Island, NY. So if we are talking about the Local WDRE/Y100(Post-WDRE) Lineage (that started in November 1995 at WDRE) then that is clearly at YNnotRadio now but if we are talking about the entire time Y100 was on the air (1993-2005) then I have no problem keeping that at WXPN (or XPN2). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.98.19.20 (talk) 19:35, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
OK, XPN2 has now completely changed its format and it is nothing like what Y100 ever was, so I don't see any way how you can still connect it with the old Y100 (and thus have it part of the old Y100 page) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.98.19.20 (talk) 18:57, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
I consider this a "Dead Page" now — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.98.19.20 (talk) 23:04, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
