Cleanup
editDisambiguation style repair of this page would remove a lot of information. When I took a pass at it (unsaved), I ended up with just
- Wabanaki Confederacy or Wabanaki, a Native American alliance from the northeastern region
- Abenaki, a Wabanaki Confederacy tribe sometimes referred to as Wabanaki
The rest are either not Wikipedia articles to be disambiguated or not referred to as Wabanaki, etc., according to their articles. The list of translations/transliterations, in particular, belongs in an article or Wiktionary entry, not on a dab page. Rather than removing all the information, perhaps someone familiar with the topic can rework the intro so that this is a Wikipedia article, rather than a dab page? -- JHunterJ (talk) 11:26, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
- Most of the content here belonged at Wabanaki Confederacy, so I moved it, or cut it and linked. There is still a bit more here than for a strict disambig (mostly that we have more than one wikilink per line), but it's closer to a disambig than an article. I don't think it could be made into a proper article without largely duplicating other articles, so have put the cleaned up version back in the disambig category. If there's another category where it would fit better, let the rest of us know. :) - Kathryn NicDhàna ♫♦♫ 02:36, 25 December 2012 (UTC)
