Typo?

In the Fakes section "is a two-handled agate wase with Renaissance-style metal mounts" ... is "vase" meant instead of "wase"? Ealdgyth - Talk 22:26, 14 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Six cites to Thornton 2011 in Notes; no such reference in bibliography (tho there's a 2001). ♦ Lingzhi2 (talk) 23:59, 15 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Superb- a question

edit

Hello, I enjoyed reading today's FA, especially loved the photographs. Just wanted to ask a question. I noticed objects are described as "superbly executed", "rather ostentatious", "of superb quality", etc etc, in what I perceived as wikivoice. I assume it's not a problem considering this is an FA, but I'd like to learn why. I thought we had to directly quote critics for such statements, and make it clear whose view we are reflecting. Thanks in advance. JohnmgKing (talk) 11:03, 3 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
