As nobody seems to have previously left any comments on what edits they have done, I have started this talk page to enable future editors to do so.

You aren't really supposed to leave notes about your edits here, unless controversial, you are supposed to leave notes in the actual edit summary.--79.64.238.73 (talk) 18:20, 15 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Climate

edit

Do you have anything to verify your comment that the area is one of the sunniest in the British Isles? Large areas of the south seem to be sunnier, according to the Met Office Averages. Donkfest1 (talk) 08:36, 2 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

This statement is already sourced to this website, run by Lincolnshire County Council.[1]-- Myosotis Scorpioides 12:49, 2 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
The source is fine for describing the climate as dry, but it does not confirm that Lincolnshire is one of the sunniest part of the British Isles. The article should exclude this statement in my view.Donkfest1 (talk) 13:49, 2 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
This statement from the council website seems to back up the sunny statement though: "As a generalisation, Lincolnshire's 'eastern' location provides for a relatively drier, warmer and sunnier climate."-- Myosotis Scorpioides 14:56, 2 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
I suppose it does. The rest of the article is well written and verified. This part seems less so and detracts in my view as it is not necessarily backed up by the sunshine statistics on the Met Office website which shows many western locations as having more annual sunshine. I will leave it to you as you feel appropriate. Regards.Donkfest1 (talk) 15:40, 2 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ermine street.

edit

The assertion that ermine street peters out after High Dyke is incorrect. If you get a 1 mile to 6 inch Ordnance Survey map, and lay a rule along High Dyke as it runs along High Dyke outside the RAF camp, then extend the line north, there is clearly a remnant of it represented by Grange Road in Bracebridge Heath. 80.5.101.158 (talk) 23:38, 25 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
