Mistaken identity (conflation) and redirect?
editI just came to this article from the bluelink on List of lynching victims in the United States, where "Thomas, Wade" is listed as an African-American man from Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, lynched in 1920 (taken from jail by a mob, hung, then riddled with bullets), ref = "Negro Is Lynched by Arkansas Mob". Ellensburg Daily Record. December 27, 1920. However, the "Wade Thomas" article had been redirected to Thomas Wade (writer), died 1875, a completely different person. Could we de-conflate the 20th century American lynching victim from the 19th century English writer? – •Raven .talk 15:25, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
