"This article or section should specify the language of its non-English content, using {{lang}}, with an appropriate ISO 639 code. See why. (November 2019)"

See why: Coz pernickety assholes get to be in charge. At least we are not enjoined to do this with exclamation marks! On the other hand, the message is particularly imperative. No please, no thank you, just do as I say. Wotevs. Maybe I'll do it, maybe not. Or someone else may. Or not. Why didn't you do it yourself? Or maybe you are just an HR reject and enjoy sticking tags everywhere without actually contributing in the slightest. Have you ever tried to find "an appropriate ISO 639 code"? Try searching up your own fundament, since the possibilities are mind-bogglingly vast, and especially since some languages don't have 2- or 3-letter ISO 639 codes; on the other hand, 4-letter ISO 15924 codes haven't been completely integrated into Wikimedia markup yet. One day, my son, it will be a piece of piss. For the time being, just insert a Babel fish. </rant> MinorProphet (talk) 07:03, 13 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
