Revert explaination
editBosamar, please explain why you reverted my recent infobox edits back to its old form, which includes redirects, an outdated location map, format inconsistencies, and overloaded government information not seen in any other municipality article (information more suited for the body of the article and not the lead infobox). Rather than revert necessary updates, you're welcome to make more constructive improvements instead of being a hometown defender of your own previous edits. Also, a city hall image (or main street view) in the infobox is much more representative of the city that a visitor center statue. I could be wrong; I've never been to Wakefield. —Notorious4life (talk) 16:32, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
User talk:Notorious4life Yes, I'm from Wakefield. The obvious deletion was the missing Nee-Gaw-Nee-Gaw-Bow sculpture; this is the focal point any visitor will see when they pass through Wakefield via M28. Sunday Lake 'is' Wakefield. Most visitors will never see (or recognize) the new City Hall. Then I saw the 'old' City Hall photo in its place... emphasis on old. Your edit was quite large and I realize I took away much, as such, I thought my choice was correct. (talk) 19:28, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
- Sounds like a good explanation for including the statue. It looks like a very nice area, except it's 9 1/2 hour away for me, so I obviously have no understanding of local attractions and buildings. I will simply reinsert the updated municipality image map (File:Wakefield,_MI_location.png) and remove the redirect for ZIP Code, as well as using "official website" for the name of the URL since the spelled out link distorts the width of the infobox. —Notorious4life (talk) 01:08, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
