Waldstein (mountain range) → Waldstein — as this is the primary topic and Waldstein its redirect. A review of the dab pages - Waldstein (disambiguation) and de:Waldstein on both English and German Wikipedias shows no other subject titled "Waldstein" - the others are all compounds. - Waldstein (disambiguation) lists many meanings, and how well known is the mountain range in Bavaria? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:56, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, but all of them are compounds e.g. "Forename Waldstein" or "Waldstein Castle" which disambiguate themselves and don't clash with "Waldstein". There are no other "Waldstein" that I can see on this or German Wiki. --Bermicourt (talk) 17:46, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose the "House of Waldstein" is also termed just "Waldstein". 76.66.194.212 (talk) 05:33, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- Comment. But it's a different title. Primary topics should not be secondary titles or shorthand. --Bermicourt (talk) 07:03, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- That is not true. Primary topics are often secondary titles, e.g. Einstein or USA. -- JHunterJ (talk) 14:59, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

- Support. Nom vote. --Bermicourt (talk) 07:03, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose barring any indication that one of the ambiguous topics is primary. -- JHunterJ (talk) 14:59, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose The mountain range topic gets only about a handful of page views per day. While the page views of most of the other uses tend to get only about a handful per month (if that), the Sonata gets much more than that. While its actual title is Piano Sonata No. 21 (Beethoven) which gets thousands of views per month[1], the redirect at Waldstein Sonata gets about as many monthly "views"[2] as the mountain range[3], clearly indicating the mountain range does not meet WP:PRIMARYTOPIC criteria. The fact that "Waldstein" is only a "partial title" match for the redirect, and not a match at all for the real title of the article, is irrelevant to primary topic determination, which depends entirely on likelihood of search. --Born2cycle (talk) 00:43, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
