The current header image of this article is a poor photo of the subject, of the side of the his head. I'll be looking for a better photo and updating this section if an appropriate image is found. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DCai169 (talk • contribs) 16:18, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Should the infoboxes of articles for deputy secretaries mention the secretary under whom they served? (example here: [1]) estar8806 (talk) ★ 00:29, 26 September 2023 (UTC) Edit:For clarity, "Secretary" and "Deputy Secretary" should also be considered to refer to the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General.--estar8806 (talk) ★00:35, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Personally, I support the inclusion of a mention of the relevant departmental leaders. Readers should be able to navigate from a deputy to their 'boss' with ease, rather than having to search through the article's text. estar8806 (talk) ★00:38, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
It's unnecessary and ill informed. Adeyemo is in a hierarchy at UST but ultimately is answerable and has his own separate mandate via the presidential appointment by Biden and Senate confirmation. It's essentially another layer of trivia that some editors have taken to cramming into infoboxes. Therequiembellishere (talk) 01:54, 26 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Okay, but by that logic we should remove a mention of the president from infoboxes about vice presidents. The Vice President has a separate mandate from the president, how is their connection any less trivial than that of Secretary-Deputy Secretary. And yes, I know the argument will be "many vice presidents go on to become president". But manydeputysecretariesgoontobecomesecretariesoftheirdepartment.
